Hammerthrow.com is published by 1956 Olympic Gold Medalist Harold Connolly (pictured to the left). Originally launched on August 1, 1999 and redesigned in June of 2001 and June of 2004, Hammerthrow.org is intended to be a vehicle for providing information for coaches and young athletes learning to throw the hammer.

Hammerthrow.org is a not-for-profit web site whose goal is to help develop hammer throwing in the United States. Hammerthrow.org is seeking sponsorship by making available banner ad space on premium content areas. All sponsorship fees will be used to defray costs associated with the production and maintenance of the website. Among others, these include computer equipment, bandwidth fees, disk space fees, and other hosting fees.
